Wow! What an energy-filled day! We wrapped our presents that we made for moms and dads (you will find those in our backpacks) and then we got to open our presents from Miss Diane.  Look at how beautifully they are wrapped! Miss Calon and Miss Bobby did a great job.

 

 

 

In the afternoon class we go to talk to Santa and tell him what we wanted for Christmas.

 

Then we had a little time to play in the bake shop.  When we come back the bake shop will be gone and we will start our "Camping with Bears" theme.

Oh boy, are we busy these days! We are getting ready for our party tomorrow. We will be singing songs, watching a short movie, and eating cookies. In addition to practicing our songs today we also worked on our "Red Light, Red Light" books. We have been hearing that story a lot in class and we are getting very good at naming the colors and predicting what comes next. We played with playdough and with goop at the sensory table. If you work fast enough, you can make a snowman out of the goop and then watch it "melt" in your hands.  During circle time we played a game called "Pass the Bean Bag." This is a great game for tracking so the kids learn to be ready for their turns. We practiced AB patterns by painting red and white candy canes as the easel. We also celebrated a birthday today; Happy Birthday Bella!

Hello everyone and happy Friday.  I was not in Miss Diane's class today so I can't tell you, in great detail, what happened in there. However, we did combine classes for a few moments today to practice some songs that we are going to sing at our holiday party next week. We have also been working on a short holiday video that will be shown at the party. The videos are not done but I did put together a little teaser for you.
