Hello everyone and welcome to the last blog of the year. It was wonderful to see so many of you at the party today. I think everyone had a lot of fun.

To those students moving on to kindergarten, I wish you the best. For those of you coming back to preschool, I will see you in August! Have a great summer.

Today we started our day with books and puzzles. We are getting very good at putting together some very big, very difficult puzzles!

 

 

Then we sang songs at circle time and practiced our jumping while reciting "Jack be Nimble."

 

Then, since there was a break in the windy weather, we went outside to play.

The boys found a lizard...

...and tracked it...

...but the lizard escaped.

 

Snack today was crackers and raisins.

 

There will be no blog on Thursday but please check in on Friday, after the party. There will be a link to the movie that will be shown at the party so that you can watch it again, if you like, and share it with family members.

We had another busy day today.  We had a couple of special projects that we worked on but I can't show you any pictures because it will spoil the surprise. I can tell you that the projects required writing our names, using our best coloring skills while practicing our tripod grasp, and using our best pincer skills to place small objects. Hmmm....

 

We also did a lot of jumping like monkeys, played musical chairs (we are really doing well when asking and answering questions), marched noisily like giants, and tiptoed quietly like mice.

 

 

Snack today was clementines and cheese crackers.
