It's all hearts and flowers in Miss Diane's room as we prepare for Valentine's Day.

We had a fun start to the day as we played "Pass the Beanbag" with our big heart-shaped bean bag. Sometimes we passed the bean bag quickly and sometimes we passed it slowly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then we played a listening game with a big heart, a medium-sized heart, and a small heart. We had to follow directions like, "Give me the small heart," and "Pick up the small heart and the big heart."

 

 

Then we went to centers. We painted hearts with water colors, worked on Valentine cards, and played in the oats.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then we made our own, special Valentine's snack. We used a cookie cutter and cut out a heart-shaped rice krispy treat and then we added sprinkles to it. It was almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
