Hello everyone and happy Tuesday. What a fun day we had today. Our morning class was lucky enough to go see a performance today by The Gestures of Joy. These wonderful ladies sang to us today using sign language.  Some of the songs were new to us and some were very familiar like "You've Got a Friend in Me," and "YMCA." We really enjoyed the music and even tried a few signs ourselves. After that the morning class went outside to play for awhile because 40 minutes is a long time to sit.

 

 

Right before going home Miss Diane read a book to us called, "Do Your Ears Hang Low?"

 

 

In the afternoon we started off with books and puzzles and then had fun listening to a story read by Miss Julie called, "Pigeon Wants a Puppy."

 

 A little later we counted paper fish and glued them into a fish bowl, practiced our letters (and just had fun) with shaving cream, and then played in the pet shop. It was a great day.

Snack today was animal cookies and strawberries in the morning and animal cookies, strawberries, and clementines in the afternoon.
