We had a fabulous Thursday! Today the morning group played musical chairs and then marched in a parade. Then it was time to get down to work. We counted dog bones and glued them into a dog dish. We also practiced writing letters and drawing shapes in shaving cream.
After that we had some time for free choice.
The afternoon class marched in a parade and we listened to a song about clothing called "What are You Wearing?" We had to listen closely and follow the directions in the song like, "If you are wearing shoes, stand up," and "If you are wearing a belt, stand up." We also practiced answering and asking questions like, "How are you feeling today?" and "How old are you?" Then we counted, ordered, and glued dog bones up to 10 and practiced our letters in shaving cream.
Then we had a little time to play.
The morning class had animal crackers and apples for snack and the afternoon class missed snack due to a fire drill.
I hope everyone has a wonderful break.
