It may be stormy outside but that doesn't slow us down.
We are busy, busy, busy!
After books and puzzles we sang some songs during circle time. We sang about Humpty Dumpty and five little fish.

Then we played a fun game with Miss Julie. We chose an item from a tray and then tried to guess whether it would float or sink. Then we wondered if a bar of soap would sink or float. What about a bottle of shampoo? You can do your own experimenting tonight at bath time.

 

 

 

 

Then Miss Elaine came and we had a lot of fun crawling through a cloth tube. Sometimes the tube was held tight to the floor so we really had to use our muscles to get through.

 

 

 

The morning class did not have center time today because we had a very long fire drill. But in the afternoon we worked on a counting book, painted, played with the sand, and played at the water table.

Here are some pictures from yesterday when Miss Melani came. She set up a fun obstacle course and we got to roll, jump, run, and walk our way through it.

 

Snack today was goldfish crackers and grapes.

     

 

After Snack we read a story called "Hooray for Fish!" It had big fish, little fish, red fish, happy fish, spotted fish--all kinds of fish!
