Welcome back!

We had an amazing first day. We started our day by reading books and putting together puzzles. Then it was circle time. We categorized our names by how we got to school. Some kids came in a car and some came on the bus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We tapped out the ABC's and 123's using our rhythm sticks and then sang some songs.

 

In the afternoon we even danced a little and marched in a parade.

 

 

 

After circle time we went to centers. We had so many choices--the water table, painting at the easel, painting with water colors at the table, and making a shell collage.

 

 

After center time if was free choice. Some of us decided that a trip to the beach would be nice.

 

 

After a delicious snack of raspberries and pretzels, Miss Diane read a book about silly ways to get to school.

 

It was a great day!
