We started our housekeeping unit today. Our play area is all set up with a kitchen, a laundry room, and a nursery. We also had the water table full of water so we could give the babies a bath. We will be working on vocabulary terms covering housewares, babies, and family members. We will also be covering concepts like clean, dirty, wet, dry, old and young.

 

 

During circle time the AM class played musical chairs and jumped like monkeys. The PM class marched in a parade and sang "The Wheels on the Bus."

We also played with putty, sorted our names by age, counted pegs, listened to a story about rain, and drew with chalk.

Snack today was watermelon and animal crackers.
