Today was a mixed-up, out-of-order day because it was PICTURE DAY!!
So we didn't make it to centers but we did get a lot of practice waiting in line, being patient, standing up straight, and smiling.
That is difficult, even for adults, so after that the morning class went outside to play.
The afternoon class played two new games before we went out to play. We played "Marching Around the Alphabet" with beanbags. It's a matching game where we matched letters on beanbags to letters on the ABC rug. Then we played the Yes/No game with Miss Julie. We had to listen very carefully to Miss Julie's questions like, "Is Kallen a boy?" or "Is Autumn a dinosaur?" or "Does Sean have purple hair?" We got to say the answer and show the answer with our Yes/No signs.
Then it was time for snack. We had apples and pretzels.
Finally we counted to 12 (25 in the afternoon) and sang our goodbye song.
