What a busy day! It was just like Santa's workshop! First we started with books and puzzles. Busy elves need to stay sharp!

Then we practiced our holiday songs: "Must be Santa," "Jingle Bells," and "Old Toy Trains."

We also started a project with Miss Julie. This will take all week and is top secret. You will find out what we've been working on soon.

Then it was time to create. We made Santa's face on a paper plate. First we drew 2 eyes, then a nose and then a mouth. After that we glued on a red hat and some cotton balls for the beard.

Then we laced stockings. This is a great activity for fine motor skills and motor planning.

We also painted at the easel.

Playing in the flour at the sensory table is always fun.

And we had some time for playing.

School can be exhausting.
But we had rice cakes and clementines for snack to regain a little energy. What a fun day.
