We continued with our camping and snowman theme today at school. During circle time we listened to Miss Julie tell a story about how to build a snowman. It had four parts. Then a big wind came along and blew the pictures down. We had to figure out which picture came first, second, third, and last. Then we had a chance to sequence our own set of pictures. Some of us sequenced 4 pictures and some of us sequenced 3 pictures.
We also had a chance to do some painting at the easel and practice cutting with Miss Diane.
We are still enjoying the snow in the sensory table and we had a lot of fun camping in the tent today. Some of us got inside, zipped the door closed, and turned on our lanterns and flashlights. It was cozy.
And there was time to explore other toys in the classroom and interact with friends.
At the end of the day Miss Diane read a story about Amy and how she made a snowman with her parents.
Snack today was strawberries and Wheat Thins. It was a good day.
