What a terrific Tuesday! We started the day with puzzles and books and then sang songs during circle time. The morning class sang "The Wheels on the Bus" and "Frosty the Snowman." The afternoon class sang "Frosty the Snowman," marched in a parade, and played "Pass the Beanbag."

Next, Miss Julie read, "The Jacket I wear in the Snow." It's about a girl and all the warm clothes she wears in the snow. Then we tried on some of the clothes ourselves.

 

 

Next, Miss Diane showed us how to draw a snowman. The instructions included many of our new vocabulary words for this quarter, such as top, middle, bottom, big, little, medium, and stack.

 

The sensory tub has "snow" in it and we had some free time to camp with bears and play with toys.

Snack today was pretzels and dried blueberries.
