Wow! We are learning so much! And we were showing it today!

During circle time we tapped out songs and rhymes on rhythm sticks and then played a game called "Find the Mitten." where we had to find a pair of mittens. There were a lot of mittens on the floor so we had to be very careful and make sure the two mittens matched.

 

 

In the afternoon class we played a similar game except there were gloves and mittens and we had to follow directions like, "Find a pair of mittens and a pair of gloves," or "Find two pairs of gloves." It was tricky.

In the morning class we worked on our books called "Snowman, Snowman, What do You See?" and in the afternoon class we assembled paper snowmen. We really showed off our new vocabulary words like snowflake, snowball, boots, scarf, stack, top, middle, bottom, big, medium, and small.

 

We also had time for free choice.

 

Snack today was bagels and cream cheese.
