Jump, jump, jump! We did a lot of jumping today. The morning class jumped like monkeys and then practiced hopping on one foot. We also sang "The Wheels on the Bus" and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." The afternoon class marched in a parade and then played a game on the Twister mat. First, we used the spinner to see which color to stand on, then Miss Diane gave us a direction to follow like, "Move to a yellow circle and clap 5 times."
Then we practiced identifying and sequencing numbers on pumpkins. The morning class sequenced numbers 1 through 5 and the afternoon class went up to 10.
In addition to the water table and the cornmeal table, we made a fun dough with shaving cream and corn starch.
Then after snack (grapes and crackers) we listened to a story called "Big Red Barn."
We accomplished a lot today!
